Purchase a day ticket this week for the XX Women’s Writing Festival, and you might be one of the two people who’ll win a signed copy of a book by an xx author – either The Scrapbook by Carly Holmes or American Sycamore by Karen Fielding.
The xx women’s writing festival begins in two weeks – and Holmes and Fielding are just two of the many prize-winning writers and artists appearing at this year’s three-day festival, running Thu 6 – Sat 8 March at Chapter. You can also hear readings and interviews with political journalist Melissa Benn; painter Shani Rhys James; Sue Vertue, producer of TV programmes including Sherlock; poets Kathryn Simmonds and Kim Moore; and Debbie Taylor, editor of Mslexia magazine.
Workshops with editors and writers are also available at an additional cost.*
Purchase a day ticket for Friday or Saturday, or a two-day ticket, between today and Wed 5 March, and you’ll automatically be given a chance to win a signed copy of either of those books. Both writers will be reading from their work at the festival.
